I stand corrected. The Joker is not Heath Ledger’s last performance, but a movie by Terry Gilliam, called The Imaginarium of Doctor Paranassus. First, I don’t think that Brandon Lee and The Twilight Zone incident are on the same level as Ledger’s death, because ther former were on-set deaths which “sells” the movie right away . Ledger’s and Julia’s dead happend soon after their movies wrapped. I don’t belive that The Dark Knight needs any promoting and Ledger’s death won’t do much different in the marketing of such film. I hope that Ledger’s perfomance as The Joker is a good as fried gold, and that would be something worth watching for a tribute.

I’m sure that, just as the news of Heath’s death broke, a marketing team somewhere pumped the fist, and went out for celebratory drinks. I mean, dead actor + film that needs promoting = no brainer. Just throw in a mentor saying “I warned him”, and you’re guaranteed to steal some headlines. And there’s no such thing as bad publicity, amIrite?

Well….i just bought Candy (the twilight zone movie) i’ll tell you how creepy it is. By the way if someone is going to Spain you should ask them to bring alone No Country for Old Men (and any other movie)…Living in a third world country, i’m pro- taking advantage of our (few)pleasures, being piracy on the top of my list.

I saw “I’m not there” the night Heath Ledger die…you know, kind of a tribute…too bad Cate Blanchet steals all the credit…Excellent movie by the way, if not the best i’ve seen in a long time.

It’s strange, I’ve actually heard more than one person say that they are not watching the new Batman movie because it’ll be way too creepy to see him play the role. Besides Street Fighter (Raul Julia’s worst career decision), are there any other instances where this has happened?
